VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Sebastian Berhalter has been called up to the United States men's national team for their upcoming November international window.
The U.S. will play friendly matches against Paraguay on Saturday, November 15 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, and against Uruguay at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on November 18.
Berhalter receives his third call-up to the USMNT this year, after receiving his first call-up leading into this summer's 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup and then once again suiting up for the Stars and Stripes during the September international window. Berhalter went on to start all five of his Gold Cup appearances, recording two assists while helping his country reach the final. He then started the friendly against South Korea on September 6.
For the 'Caps, Berhalter is enjoying a career-year. The 24-year-old midfielder, who was named the 2025 Whitecaps FC Player of the Year, has recorded eight goals as well as a team-leading 16 assists in 38 starts and 44 appearances across all competitions this season. Berhalter’s impressive development this season has seen him rise to second in assists with 27 and break into the top 10 for appearances with 146 during the club’s MLS era. He's also been named to the MLS Best XI, the Concacaf Champions Cup Best XI, and earned his first MLS All-Star selection.
