Waston vs. Seattle

Now that’s more like it.

Kendall Waston has been named to the MLS Team of the Week after a monstrous performance in Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s 2-1 win over Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday at CenturyLink Field. The Costa Rican centre back had a game-high 11 clearances, which was the highest total of any MLS player this weekend, to go along with five interceptions and three blocks.

Waston is the first Whitecaps FC player to make the MLS Team of the Week this season.
