April 1: Whitecaps FC 4-2 LA Galaxy
June 3: Whitecaps FC 3-1 Atlanta United FC
July 5: Whitecaps FC 3-2 New York City FC

If you were at BC Place for any of these dates, then you certainly felt it.

It’s an energy that sends tingles up your spine.

It’s been driven by the club’s supporters – the Southsiders, Curva Collective, and Rain City Brigade.

From their lead, it’s been resonating throughout the stadium, and reverberating through the bones of every Whitecaps FC player.

Three times the ‘Caps have been trailing at home and come back to win.

That’s not a one-off…that’s three matches against good teams that could have ended in an L, but turned into a W.

“They get behind us when we’re on the front foot,” said head coach Carl Robinson after the latest comeback win over NYCFC. “And I think they sensed something was coming …I think it was the momentum that carried us over today.”

Add to those results a 1-1 home draw against FC Dallas, and you have 10 points gained after trailing at home this season.

That’s no small total, and one that certainly may increase as the season goes on.

This team has heart. And their supporters do too.

If there was ever any doubt…the buzz is back.
