The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) announced today the group stage matches and complete schedule for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, a biennial competition featuring the top national teams and players from the region.

Canada will open the competition against debutants French Guiana (July 7 at Red Bull Arena) before taking on Costa Rica (July 11 at BBVA Compass Stadium) and Honduras (July 14 and Toyota Stadium) in the group stage of this summer's confederation championship.

The top two teams from each group and the two best third-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals, which begin on July 19.

Canada are two-time CONCACAF champions, having won titles in 1985 and 2000.

Since the first edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 1991, Canada's best finishes are first place in 2000 and semifinal finishes in 2002 and 2007. All time, Canada have posted a record of 15 wins, 15 losses, and 11 draws in 41 matches.
