VANCOUVER, BC – Everything is bigger in Texas, and this week is no different.

The 'Caps face two big tests, starting on Wednesday when they travel to face Western Conference foes FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium.

This will be a rematch of the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs. Dallas will be motivated, while the 'Caps will want to keep pace at the top of the MLS standings.

Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT, live on Apple TV, and on radio on 101.1 HD3 and CKNW.com.

MLS CUP PLAYOFFS REMATCH: Vancouver Whitecaps FC's historic run to the MLS Cup Final last year began with a dramatic Round One Best-of-3 Series against FC Dallas. After the ‘Caps earned a convincing win at BC Place in Game 1, the second match in Texas turned into a tense battle. Vancouver found a stoppage-time equalizer through Ralph Priso before prevailing 4-2 in a shootout to clinch the series. Dating back to July 2017, the ‘Caps have also enjoyed success at Toyota Stadium, posting a 4W-1L-4D record.

TEXAS TWO-STEP: This week marks the third and fourth of five consecutive road matches for the Blue and White before the FIFA World Cup 2026™ break, with both stops coming in the Lone Star State against FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo FC. Vancouver went unbeaten across four trips to Texas in regular season and playoff action last year with two wins and two draws, highlighted by the playoff series shootout win at Dallas.

RECORD PACE: Sebastian Berhalter is putting together an MVP-calibre start to 2026. The midfielder has already recorded four goals, matching his MLS total from last season, and seven assists, one off the league lead. His 11 goal contributions in MLS play is tied for the fourth-most in the league and just two shy of the MLS lead. Berhalter also ranks tied for second in big chances created (9), tied for third in key passes (31), and third in expected assists (4.10).
