TEXAS SHOWDOWN: After capturing a crucial 1-0 win at home against FC Dallas this past weekend, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set for another Texas showdown this Wednesday, September 29 as they visit Houston Dynamo FC at BBVA Stadium. The Blue and White are unbeaten in their last seven road matches, capturing six draws and a win dating back to late June, good enough for the second longest active away unbeaten run in the league.

IN-FORM 'CAPS: With Saturday's win, the 'Caps have now won five of their last seven matches in MLS play averaging 2.29 points-per-game, while scoring 12 goals and allowing only six goals during the run. ’Caps striker Brian White has led the way offensively with five goals and keeper Maxime Crépeau has been named to the MLS Team of Week twice over the seven games.

QUICK TURNAROUND: After Wednesday's match, the 'Caps will quickly turn their focus to another important Western Conference matchup at BC Place, as San Jose Earthquakes come to town next Saturday, October 2. The match could have plenty of future playoff implications with the 'Caps entering the week sitting tied with San Jose on points with 33. However, the 'Caps have a game in hand on San Jose, as well as Los Angeles FC, Real Salt Lake and LA Galaxy, all teams Vancouver is chasing for a playoff spot. A couple positive results this week will go a long way in helping the 'Caps secure a spot in the 2021 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
