Colin's Keys

Tune in on matchdays for a one hour pre-match show and one hour post-match show as Colin Miller and Corey Basso call the action live on AM730.

Saturday's pre-match show kicks off at 5 p.m. PT at whitecapsfc.com/am730.

Here are Colin’s keys as the 'Caps end a hectic May at Sporting Kansas City.

The Russell effect

News broke on Friday that Sporting KC will be without Dániel Sallói who is suspended an extra match.

This puts even more important on captain Johnny Russell, one of the most dangerous players in the league.

He already has four goals in MLS play this season.

The 'Caps must stop him.

One last push in May

It's been an exhausting May for the 'Caps, playing every three to four days over the course of the month and now finishing up three straight games on the road.

After Saturday they will finally have a full week until their next match at home against Real Salt Lake on June 4.

A big effort will be needed to finish the month strong.

Crosses in the box

SKC have been suspect at the back this season, conceding the second most goals in the Western Conference with 25.

The 'Caps need to get crosses into the box, as their defenders have been caught ball watching at times.
