Colin's Keys to a Cascadia Clash

Colin's Keys CKNW

Tune in to 980CKNW radio on Saturday for a live broadcast of the match, with a pre-match show and post-match show.

Saturday's pre-match show kicks off at 6 p.m. PT at globalnews.ca/radio/cknw/player.

Here are Colin’s keys as the 'Caps look to once again keep their playoff hopes alive at home against Seattle Sounders FC.

Pace of Morris

Jordan Morris’ pace is possibly the best in MLS.

The ‘Caps will need to have cover defensively for U.S. men's national team winger at all times.

That’s whether he’s in or out of possession.

Good in possession

Seattle put in one of their better recent performances in their last match when they beat Austin 3-0.

They were absolutely clinical in the counterattack, with Raul Ruidiaz twice set up for easy finishes.

The ‘Caps must be organized in possession.

Use the crowd

It will be the biggest crowd of the MLS season at BC Place on Saturday.

The ‘Caps are coming off of a terrific performance over LA Galaxy on Wednesday. Both of those factors are to our advantage and can help us get the result.

But we will need to be at our best. Despite their position, I still fancy this Sounders team as one of the favourites to win it all.
