Last season saw a number of exciting moments at home, such as the home opener versus Toronto FC, the comeback versus Sporting Kansas City, the valiant undermanned draw against New England,the Manchester City matchand the first win at BC Place against Real Salt Lake.


With a full season at the beautifully renovated BC Place stadium, 2012 promises to be even more thrilling. New head coach Martin Rennie looks set to lead the club to new heights, beginning March 10 against longtime rivals and MLS newcomers Montreal Impact.  The team has already added a number of exciting players to the roster, such as Korean legend Young-Pyo Lee!

About Vancouver Whitecaps FC
In 1974, Vancouver Whitecaps FC played their inaugural season in the North American Soccer League, and in 1979, the club won the NASL Soccer Bowl championship. From 1987 to 1992, as a member of the Canadian Soccer League, Vancouver won four straight CSL titles.
