It's not known how either team will set up, or who might be available, but it could mark the seventh all-time meeting between global superstars Thomas Müller and Alexis Sánchez, and the second time that they would meet in the decisive second leg of a cup semifinal.

Sánchez scored his only goal while matching up with Müller, however it was the German's side who was dominant once again, winning 5-1 at Allianz Arena. The second leg would see a matching 5-1 scoreline as Bayern advanced once again.

Montreal went ahead with a surprise 1-0 lead. Both Müller and Sánchez came off the bench in the second half, and the Chilean thought that he had made it 2-0 with his first goal for Montreal, but it was called back offside. Ryan Gauld would equalize to make the score 1-1 heading into Wednesday's decisive second leg in Montreal.
