NOTES:
Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes two changes to the starting XI from last Saturday at Kansas City. Kendall Waston returns from suspension and replaces an injured Pa-Modou Kah (facial fracture) and captain Pedro Morales draws in for Nicolás Mezquida.
This will be Morales’ first MLS regular season start in 11 weeks – his last came on June 6 in a 1-0 win at LA Galaxy. The ‘Caps captain, who has scored three free kick goals in all competitions this month, agreed to a multi-year extension with Whitecaps FC earlier this week.
Six of today’s starters (Ousted, Waston, Harvey, Laba, Koffie, and Morales) also started last year’s heartbreaking 2-1 loss to FC Dallas in the Western Conference Knockout Round. Manneh, who has two goals in three assists in his last five matches, was a second half substitute.
In total, eight different birth countries are represented in the starters: Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Denmark, The Gambia, Ghana, United States (x3), and Uruguay (x2).

With one more win, Whitecaps FC will break the club record for wins in an MLS regular season. Currently, their 13 wins are tied for the club record from the 2013 season.
