NOTES:
Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes two changes to his XI from the last regular season match (October 14 at FC Dallas), with centre back Kendall Waston in for a suspended Pa-Modou Kah and midfielder Cristian Techera in for Deybi Flores.
Waston returns to the XI after missing the last two matches due to international duty with Costa Rica. The centre back was named Whitecaps FC’s 2015 BMO Player of the Year earlier today.
Midfielders Nicolas Mezquida (hamstring) and Mauro Rosales (adductor) return to the 18-man lineup, while Pedro Morales (hamstring) and Darren Mattocks are both out with injury. Mattocks picked up a knock against C.D. Olimpia and is being left out for precautionary reasons.
Whitecaps FC have matched their best ever MLS regular season point total with 50. With one more point today, Vancouver will become the only team in MLS to have improved their points total for five consecutive seasons since joining the league in 2011.
