Injury Report

    • Christian Bolaños: out - right knee patellar tendonitis


    • Marcel de Jong: out - right calf tightness


    • David Edgar: out - suffered posterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments (PCL and MCL) tear, as well as a meniscus tear, in his right knee on December 15, surgery on January 4


    • Brett Levis: out - suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear in his right knee during the second half of the season finale against Portland on October 23, surgery on November 8


    • Yordy Reyna: out - left foot (fifth metatarsal) fracture suffered in the second half of the preseason match at Portland on February 15, surgery on February 21


Disciplinary Report

Whitecaps FC centre back Kendall Waston will serve his one-match suspension for “violent conduct” in the 25th minute of last year’s regular season finale vs. Portland Timbers.

- Five changes from the second leg of the CCL quarterfinals against New York as Sheanon Williams, Christian Dean, Cristian Techera, Andrew Jacobson, and Erik Hurtado replace Jake Nerwinski, Kendall Waston (suspended), Russell Teibert, Marcel de Jong (right calf tightness), and Brek Shea


- Whitecaps FC start an all-American back four in Sheanon Williams, Tim Parker, Christian Dean, who missed all of 2016 due to injuries, and Jordan Harvey


- Four MLS SuperDraft first round picks in the lineup: Kekuta Manneh (4th in 2013), Erik Hurtado (5th in 2013), Christian Dean (3rd in 2014), and Tim Parker (13th in 2015)


- Sheanon Williams, who makes his Whitecaps FC MLS debut, Jordan Harvey, and Andrew Jacobson were all members of the Philadelphia Union in their inaugural 2010 season


- Midfielder Andrew Jacobson makes his 200th MLS regular season appearance tonight
