Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes nine changes to his starting XI that lost 1-0 to Toronto FC on Tuesday in the first leg of the Amway Canadian Championship Final – only Pedro Morales and Christian Bolaños are starting both matches. Morales and Bolaños are the only changes from last Saturday’s match against New England as they replace Russell Teibert and Cristian Techera.
This is the third consecutive MLS regular season match that Robinson has used the same back five. Two of them, in Harvey and Jacobson, were members of the Union during their inaugural season in 2010.
Striker Octavio Rivero is currently with the team in Pennsylvania but will not dress for the match. The club has no further comment at this time.

22.Christian Dean - meniscus tear on his right knee suffered during training on May 25, surgery on May 31
