VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to host Cascadia rivals and defending MLS Cup champions Portland Timbers at 2 p.m. PT (TSN1 and TSN 1040 radio).

Carl Robinson makes six changes to his starting XI from last weekend’s match at New York City FC. Centre back Kendall Waston returns from his one-match suspension in place of Pa-Modou Kah, fullbacks Fraser Aird and Jordan Harvey are in for Jordan Smith and Sam Adekugbe, captain Pedro Morales is in for Andrew Jacobson, Cristian Techera replaces a suspended Kekuta Manneh, and Masato Kudo is in for Octavio Rivero.
Seven starters – Ousted, Waston, Parker, Harvey, Laba, Techera, and Morales – started last year’s home playoff defeat against Portland.
Today will be Jordan Harvey’s 133rd MLS regular season appearance for Whitecaps FC, which ties the club record currently held by Gershon Koffie. It will also be Harvey’s MLS club record 123rd start.
Midfielder Christian Bolaños makes his third consecutive start for the first time in MLS play. The native of San José, Costa Rica has scored in his last two matches.
