NOTES:
- Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes nine changes from Vancouver’s CCL match on Wednesday – only fullback Jordan Smith and centre back Kendall Waston, who returns from his one-match MLS suspension, will start both matches.
- There are also three changes from their September 9 MLS match vs. Colorado Rapids – Smith in for Steven Beitashour (left knee sprain), Waston in for Tim Parker, and Russell Teibert in for Pedro Morales (right hamstring strain).
- Meanwhile, Matias Laba will serve the final match of his two-game MLS suspension (one game for yellow card accumulation, one game for a red card) and Darren Mattocks is not on the bench due to a hip contusion suffered on Wednesday against Olimpia. 
- In total, eight different birth countries are represented in today’s starters: Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica (x2), Denmark, The Gambia (x2), Ghana, United States, Uruguay (x2).
- After 28 MLS regular season matches in 2015, Whitecaps FC have earned 48 points with a 15W-10L-3D record, which is 11 more points than last season when they were 8W-7L-13D after the same number of matches.
- A win tonight would bring Whitecaps FC to 51 points on the season, which would be a new club record in the MLS era.
