Carl Robinson makes one change from the starting XI in Vancouver’s last two MLS wins over Seattle Sounders FC and Real Salt Lake. Tim Parker replaces Kendall Waston (suspended from yellow card accumulation) at centre back. Also of note, Mauro Rosales returns to the 18 after missing the last two matches with an adductor strain.
Today’s lineup features nine of the same starters from the July 12 1-0 defeat vs. SKC at BC Place (Ousted, Beitashour, Parker, Harvey, Laba, Koffie, Techera, Manneh, Rivero). Kah and Mezquida the only two starters who did not start on July 12.
Robinson’s XI has an average age of 26-years, three weeks, and four days – a young attacking group, but more experienced goalkeeper and back line. Five of the six attacking players are 23 years old, while Manneh is only 20. Parker is the only player in the back five (including Ousted) who is younger than 27.

With one more win, Whitecaps FC will break the club record for wins in an MLS regular season. Currently, their 13 wins are tied for the club record from the 2013 season.
After 24 matches in 2015, Whitecaps FC have earned 42 points with a 13W-8L-3D record, which is 10 more points more than last season when they were 7W-6L-11D after the same number of matches.
The ‘Caps have the best road record in MLS at 7W-4L-2D, which is three more road wins than any other team in the league.
