HOME SWEET HOME: Just like in 2021, the 'Caps have been extremely difficult to beat at BC Place for any team not named the Timbers. They've now gone 9W-2L-3D in 14 home matches since returning to Vancouver from Salt Lake City last year. San Jose found that out on Saturday when they went up 2-1 and 3-2 in the second half, only to see the 'Caps come back to not only tie the match, but nearly win it on a Lucas Cavallini header off the post right before the final whistle.

CANADIANS SHINING: It was a phenomenal week for the 'Caps Canadian contingent in their three matches over the course of last week. Lucas Cavallini had a goal and a pair of assists, Ryan Raposo had two goals while setting up Cava's goal, and Tosaint Ricketts and Russell Teibert also got in on the scoring with winning goals to help propel the squad to this positive run of form.

ROAD TRIP: Vanni Sartini's side will be keen to get a win on Wednesday before they head on the road for three consecutive games. This coming Sunday, May 22 they will travel south to face expansion side Charlotte FC for the first time. Then on Wednesday, May 25 they have another massive Canadian Championship match when they play Cavalry FC in Calgary. They will wrap up the road swing on Saturday, May 28 at Western Conference foes Sporting Kansas City.
