BACK AT THE FORTRESS: After playing five out of their last six matches on the road, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to host a four-game homestand at BC Place over the next two weeks. First up are a pair of Western Conference showdowns against Houston Dynamo FC on Wednesday, May 31 and against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, June 3. The 'Caps will then face CF Montréal in the Canadian Championship Final on June 7, with the homestand culminating against Eastern Conference side FC Cincinnati on Saturday, June 10. Heading into the four matches, the 'Caps are unbeaten in their last six MLS home matches (4W-0L-2D), scoring 12 goals and keeping four clean sheets during that span.
STRIKE DOWN THE DYNAMO: On Wednesday, the Blue and White open up their homestand against fellow Western Conference side Houston Dynamo FC, with a single point separating the two teams heading into Matchday 16. Dating back to last season, the Dynamo have only won one of their last 13 away matches in MLS play. Meanwhile, the 'Caps, who won the previous meeting at BC Place by a score of 2-1, have posted an all-time home record of 8W-0L-3D against Houston.
