Heading to the 'Caps big match against Colorado Rapids on Saturday afternoon at BC Place?

ALUMNI MATCH: 'CAPS VS. '86ERS
Come to the match early and catch former 'Caps players on the pitch again for the club’s charity alumni match from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. PT!
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Vancouver ‘86ers, alumni of the '86ers will face a Whitecaps alumni team featuring fan favourites Jay DeMerit, Young-Pyo Lee, Andy O’Brien and Robert Earnshaw.
Tickets are only $5 and all proceeds support BC Children’s Hospital.
Purchase a ticket for the alumni match online HERE or at the Gate A box office beginning at 12:15 p.m. PT. Alumni match ticket holders can enter through Gate A beginning at 1:15 p.m. PT.
Please note: fans attending the alumni match must also have a ticket for the MLS match and no in-and-outs will be permitted. All tickets are general admission and fans will be seated in sections 212-216.
BAG POLICY
Please note that the new bag policy is now in effect. In compliance with MLS policy, no bags larger than 14”x14”x6” will be permitted into the stadium.
Anyone with a bag larger than the designated size will be turned away at the gate.
Courtesy of the ‘Caps partnership with the Bike Valet, fans will have the option of checking their oversized bag on a first come, first serve basis at the Bike Valet at Gate C. Please note that space at the bag check is limited.
Special consideration for larger bags will be made for guest with medical needs and to parents caring for infants. Event security will open all bags for a visual inspection at the gates and Bike Valet.
STADIUM ENTRY
Due to construction, the outside stadium concourse will be inaccessible between Gates E and G. Gate F remains closed for the 2016 season.
Please arrive early! Doors for the alumni match open at 1:15 p.m. PT and for the MLS match at 3:00 p.m. PT (2:30 p.m. PT for suite holders).
Be sure to check out our security procedures and allow for extra time. All guests entering BC Place are subject to a mandatory pat down and bag search.
If you experience a lineup at a given gate, please remember that you can enter the stadium at any alternate gate, except Gate F.
TICKET PICK-UP
All printed tickets will be available for pick-up at Team Ticket Services, located at Gate H. For all season ticket inquiries, please go to Gate H.
Ticket printing services are available at every gate with the exception of the closed Gate F.
Box offices at Gate A and H will open at 12:15 p.m. PT prior to the alumni match. All other box offices will open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Your tickets are also available on mobile, either through the ‘Caps App or Ticketmaster.
‘CAPS KICKOFF
Come out to ‘Caps Kickoff from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. PT at the Terry Fox Plaza and get excited about the match! ‘Caps fans of all ages are invited show their support for the Blue and White at this fun community event.
- The BC Place Patio is open! Come out and enjoy a cold one and food specials (weather dependent).
- Check out local rock band The Prettys performing live at ‘Caps Kickoff!
- A Whitecaps FC player will be signing autographs at the Bell Fan Zone from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT!
- All fans who participate in BCAA and EVO’s Soccer Shootout will win a prize. The more goals you score, the better your prize! There will also be a spin-the-wheel and an inflatable sports cage to measure your speed and accuracy.
- Stop by the Multi-Material BC booth and play a variety of recycling games to win prizes. See if you can kick a soccer ball into the blue recycling bin or successfully build a recycling tower without it tumbling down!
- Visit the Port of Vancouver booth for some giveaways and to see their mascot, Salty the Seagull!
- Canada Border Services Agency will be on-site with some giveaways.
- Play a game of foosball at the KIA Lounge or grab a match day magnet from the KIA car!
- Fans can also stop by the BMO booth to play a fun game of “human foosball”.
- Sammy Soccer Stiltwalker and Freddie Futball will be on hand to deliver interactive fun and laughs. Take them on in a friendly match and show them your skills!
- TSN 1040’s promo team will be at ‘Caps Kickoff.
FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS
Party like it’s 1986! Fans can enjoy food and drink specials at ‘86ers themed prices inside the stadium throughout the entire MLS match.
Items specially priced at $8.60 include Tall Budweiser and Stella Cans, Foot-long Supreme Dogs, Bacon Cheeseburgers (also available during alumni match) or Short Rib Poutine (also available during alumni match).
Be sure to check out the Mystery Tap featuring a limited quantity of rotating craft beer. The Mystery Tap is available at Beer Express (sections 213 and 240) until the keg runs out!
Enjoy food specials on the patio at ‘Caps Kickoff from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. PT. including BBQ Chicken Burgers for $9.50, Grilled Jalapeno & Cheddar Sausages for $6.50 and BBQ Beef Burgers for $8.50.
CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month, all MLS teams will be participating in the Soccer Kicks Cancer campaign. Players will be walking out in Soccer Kicks Cancer t-shirts and all nets and corner flags will be gold in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness month.
BC CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL SCARF
A limited number of special BC Children’s Hospital scarves will be available for purchase. Fans can purchase a scarf for $29.99 at merchandise stands.
Proceeds from the scarf will help outfit new toys and equipment for Whitecaps FC’s themed playroom, to be constructed in the new Teck Acute Care Centre, the heart of the new BC Children’s Hospital. The facility is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
50/50 PROGRAM
The ‘Caps 50/50 program presented is run at Whitecaps FC home matches at BC Place and benefits BC Children’s Hospital.
Purchase your tickets at ‘Caps Kickoff, section 234 or with 50/50 sellers on the concourse. Tickets are three for $5, 7 for $10 or 18 for $20.
Must be 19 years or older to play. Know your limit, play within it.
FREE HAIRCUTS FROM GREAT CLIPS
If the 'Caps score three goals against their opponent at any MLS home match, all fans in attendance are eligible to receive a FREE haircut at any participating Vancouver, Lower Mainland & Vancouver Island area Great Clips Salon.

BIKE VALET
The bike valet service will operate from Gate C. Bike valet service is available from gate opening time to a half hour after the final whistle.
KIA PITCHSIDE CLUB ACCESS
Due to the recent construction at BC Place and along Pacific Boulevard, the KIA Pitchside Club entrance is closed until further notice. To access the KIA Pitchside Club area, please proceed to the main concourse and walk down the corresponding section aisle to your seats. An accessible option is also available via the elevator at Section 247 down to the KIA Pitchside Club Lounge.
ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All stadium entrances are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair seating is located on Level 2. All suites are also wheelchair accessible.
A temporary gate at section 139 (from parking lot 457) will act as a drop-off location for those requiring an accessible entrance from Pacific Boulevard. BC Place staff will be stationed at section 139 to assist and shuttle guests to the section 147 elevator.
Please note that the accessible entrance located on Pacific Boulevard underneath Gate F will be closed.
