VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC will look to build on their strong start to the season on Saturday, as they play their second Cascadia Cup match of the season against rivals Portland Timbers.
Fans will also be in for a festive evening, as Whitecaps FC celebrate the South Asian community with the club's annual Vaisakhi Match, presented by MNP.
Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. PT, with festivities on Terry Fox Plaza starting at 6 p.m. PT. Single match tickets are available at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps. For all other ticket options, visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets.

- The Cascadia Cup was created by the supporters of Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Seattle Sounders FC, and Portland Timbers. It is awarded to the club that has the best head-to-head record in regular season matches between the Pacific Northwest rivals

Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Gurman Gill from Surrey School District as Kid Captain for Saturday's match versus Portland Timbers.
Gurman is a bright and energetic student who brings positive energy everywhere he goes. He is always being active, whether it's playing soccer or basketball. Gurman is a strong leader that strives to strengthen his team while showcasing his love and skill for the sport as well. Recently Gurman participated in a poetry slam for his after-school program and presented a poem he wrote to fellow SD36 students. Gurman values quality time with his family and friends.
