Whitecaps FC look to string together consecutive wins following their comeback victory against LA Galaxy last Saturday. Three points will vault the ‘Caps within a point of the playoff picture in the tight Western Conference race. They face a hungry Dynamo side that has not won in six matches, their last victory coming at home against Vancouver on May 22.

ON TO THE NEXT: The ‘Caps face a quick turnaround, lacing up their cleats just three nights after their last outing. Head coach Marc Dos Santos faces the decision between opting for continuity following a resilient showing from a young XI over the weekend, or choosing rotation by inserting fresh legs into his lineup. Colombian wingers Deiber Caicedo and Cristian Dajome, who each scored against LA, have played in all 13 ‘Caps matches so far, along with Janio Bikel. They go up against a well-rested Dynamo club that last played on July 7.

WHO’S IN, WHO’S OUT: Brian White has started at striker since Lucas Cavallini went away on international duty, and Tosaint Ricketts made his return from injury as a late substitute on Saturday. Standing in between them and goal is former ‘Caps centre back Tim Parker, who recently signed a contract extension with Houston. New DP centre back and Zimbabwe international Teenage Hadebe has been reported to be inching closer to making his MLS debut, with Maynor Figueroa among the five Dynamo players away at the Gold Cup.
