Here are three storylines for the match.

THE DIRECTOR'S CHAIR

Carl Robinson has been showing just why he was one of the finalists for the MLS Coach of the Year award in 2015.

Despite the team being saddled with injuries, suspensions, and international duty, Robinson has directed the 'Caps to two straight wins, making adjustments in his lineup and in his formation.

It will be interesting to see if Robinson sticks to the 4-4-2 formation that he rolled out in the winning streak, or if he goes back to the 4-2-3-1 lineup that has become a staple at BC Place.

FEATURE FILM

Everyone knows that the Galaxy are stacked with stars.

Their household names include Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane and Giovani dos Santos. It is still up in the air if Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena will have Gerrard and dos Santos available, after each sustained recent injuries. Keane is out for the next four to six weeks after undergoing a right knee surgery on Thursday.

Midfielder Mike Magee and striker Gyasi Zardes are expected to jumpstart the LA attack. Former Arsenal standout Ashley Cole may also make his first appearance at BC Place.

LAST MATCH: 'Caps win their second straight behind another Morales goal

Pedro Morales has taken centre stage to start the season and has shown why he's one of the team's headliners.

The MLS leader in goals with four through Week 4, the Chilean captain is in top form after being hobbled by injuries for parts of last season.

The supporting cast of Christian Bolaños, Cristian Techera, and Kekuta Manneh have provided a different look for the 'Caps offence.

Tim Parker, Kendall Waston, Bolaños, and Blas Pérez will be back with the 'Caps, but each played for their respective national teams on Tuesday evening.

Can Robinson and the 'Caps deliver another big-time performance after their historic win in LA last year? Tune in on TSN2 to find out.
