VANCOUVER, BC –Vancouver Whitecaps FC host their first-ever MLS Cup Playoffs match tonight as they take on Cascadia rival Portland Timbers in the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinal.
A limited number of tickets have been released and suites are still available.
Remember, these are the potential scenarios for Sunday's match:
- 'Caps advance with a win
- Timbers advance with a win, or a 1-1 or higher draw
- 0-0 draw: 30-minute extra time; if the match is tied following the 30 minutes, there will be a penalty shootout

HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
The 'Caps are expecting a record crowd at BC Place - the biggest in their MLS history.
"We want the fans to come early, wear white and make noise," striker Robert Earnshaw said. "Our supporters help boost us on the pitch."
It will take a complete team effort to lift the 'Caps to heights no Canadian team has reached in league history - from the XI on the pitch to the fans in the stands.
HOLD THE LINE
Whitecaps FC have emerged as arguably the best defending club in MLS, tying for league-best in goals allowed (36) and clean sheets (13). With the away goals tie-breaker rule in effect, MLS Coach of the Year finalist Carl Robinson will need a solid effort from the backline more than ever this Sunday.
Fortunately for Robbo, he has fellow MLS awards finalists in goalkeeper David Ousted and centre back Kendall Waston.
Will they be able to stifle attempts by Timbers attackers Fanendo Adi, Darlington Nagbe, and Diego Valeri enough for the 'Caps to get a result?
CALM UNDER PRESSURE
If the series comes down to a penalty shootout, the ’Caps can rely on three active players who have scored on penalties in MLS – captainPedro Morales (9/10), Octavio Rivero (3/3), and Darren Mattocks (1/2).
Ousted has three penalty saves - all from this past regular season, which was highest in the league for 2015. He also forced a Nagbe miss that hit the post earlier this year.
