Rivero scores fastest goal in 'Caps MLS history
April 30, 2016 - 3-2 L

In late April 2016, the 'Caps paid their first-ever visit to Yankee Stadium and quickly silenced the home crowd thanks to some smart high pressing.

Nicolas Mezquida made it all happen as he pressured NYCFC goalkeeper Josh Saunders into misplacing the ball, which ended up at the feet of Octavio Rivero to smash in the 'Caps fastest goal in MLS play at 35 seconds.

Reyna hits tremendous half-volley into top corner
August 31, 2019 - 1-3 L

The 'Caps hosted the Pigeons at BC Place in August 2019, falling 3-1 on the night.

August 4, 2018 - 2-2 D

Next up on our list is Nicolas Mezquida's stunning, low-driven strike from distance at Yankee Stadium in a 2-2 draw in 2018.

The Uruguayan picked up the ball in midfield, drove towards the opposing backline and blasted his effort past NYCFC goalkeeper Brad Stuver to give the 'Caps the lead.

Harvey volleys home left-footed equalizer
July 5, 2017 - 3-2 W

In July 2017, the 'Caps captured their first win to date against NYCFC, winning 3-2 at BC Place in thrilling fashion.

After the Pigeons took a 2-1 lead going into halftime, the 'Caps would come out of the break flying and grabbed their equalizer through a stunning volley at the back post from Jordan Harvey, sitting up an entertaining finish.

Reyna heads in memorable game-winner, first MLS goal
July 5, 2017 - 3-2 W

Following up from above, the 'Caps continued to push and created plenty of chances to take the lead.
