Whitecaps FC open BC Place upper bowl for four matches in 50th Anniversary Season

Based on demand, Whitecaps FC confirmed on Tuesday that the upper bowl at BC Place will be open for all four matches featured in the Golden Era Pack available at whitecapsfc.com/tickets:

  • March 2 vs. Charlotte FC (home opener)
  • May 4 vs. Austin FC (50th Anniversary)
  • May 25 vs. Inter Miami CF (inaugural matchup)
  • August 24 vs. LAFC (playoff rematch)

After being available for just 24 hours, there is only limited lower bowl inventory available for the Golden Era Pack. In addition, there are lower bowl season memberships available in select sections and feature exclusive perks and extra benefits, including a year-long subscription to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. This season will be the first time in the club’s MLS era that the upper bowl will be open for regular season matches. Last fall, the ’Caps had two of their top 10 largest crowds at BC Place since joining MLS including their record-breaking MLS Cup Playoffs match of 30,204 fans.

Golden Era Pack March 2 vs. Charlotte FC (home opener)
The first match of the Golden Era pack will be the home opener on March 2, which will be the first ever visit to BC Place from Eastern Conference side Charlotte FC. Charlotte will provide stiff competition under new head coach Dean Smith after making the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time in 2023.

May 4 vs. Austin FC (50th Anniversary)
The 50th Anniversary match marks a historic milestone in the illustrious history of Vancouver Whitecaps FC. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of our club's journey from inception to iconic status and what lies ahead for the next 50 years!

May 25 vs. Inter Miami CF (inaugural matchup)
Whitecaps FC take on Inter Miami CF for the first time. The ‘Caps will be looking to make a league-wide statement in front of the home supporters at BC Place as they challenge the MLS Cup favourites, led by a contingent of former FC Barcelona stars including Lionel Messi.

August 24 vs. LAFC (playoff rematch)
A controversial end to the 2023 Whitecaps FC season left a bitter taste in the mouths of supporters, players, and staff alike. Now, the ‘Caps look to right a wrong against Western Conference rivals in the thick of the MLS season.
