Nicolas Mezquida: Appeared in four of Vancouver’s six matches, scoring a goal vs. San Jose Earthquakes on March 11 and impressing in a substitute’s role vs. Tigres UANL.
David Ousted: Conceded just three goals in five starts (sat out last weekend’s loss to Toronto FC after picking up a red card vs. San Jose); stopped a PK against New York and made six saves against Tigres UANL in Monterrey, Mexico.
Tim Parker: Started five of Vancouver’s six matches, including clean sheets vs. New York and Philadelphia; named Man of the Match vs. Toronto FC.
Kendall Waston: Led MLS with 29 clearances heading into the weekend; helped limit New York to just one goal over two matches to start the season.
