VANCOUVER, BC – Two-time defending champions Vancouver Whitecaps FC will continue defence of their Voyageurs Cup title against Canadian Premier League (CPL) side Pacific FC of Langford, British Columbia in the semifinal round of the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship. The winner will host the championship final.

Pacific FC will host the first leg between July 9-11. The ’Caps will then host the second leg between August 27-29 at BC Place. Dates, kickoff and ticket information will be confirmed in the coming days.

The ’Caps will be looking to win a third consecutive Voyageurs Cup after winning the Canadian Championship in both 2022 and 2023. The winner of the Canadian Championship will qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Pacific FC advanced to the semifinal round after winning 2-1 against fellow CPL side Atlético Ottawa in the quarter-final round. This will be the third time that the ’Caps face Pacific FC in the TELUS Canadian Championship. In 2021, the CPL side pulled off the upset, and in 2023 the ’Caps returned the favour on the way to winning the Voyageurs Cup.
