Vancouver Whitecaps FC Statement - June 11, 2026

Earlier this week, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Major League Soccer met with representatives from municipal, provincial, and federal governments, as well as leaders from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations to discuss the club’s future in Vancouver.

We are grateful for the continued support shown by all parties and appreciate the ongoing constructive dialogue. A Vancouver solution remains our primary goal, and it is clear that achieving it will require the full commitment of the entire community — from government and business to the supporters and partners who have stood behind this club.

We remain committed to working with all stakeholders to strengthen the opportunity to attract a credible local ownership group, grow the game at all levels, and secure the club's long-term future in Vancouver.
