VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today the addition of centre back Kendall Waston, midfielder Christian Bolaños, and striker Blas Pérez to their Amway Canadian Championship roster ahead of the first leg of the final series versus Toronto FC on Tuesday (4:30 p.m. PT on TSN1/4 and TSN 1410 radio).
Waston, Bolaños, and Pérez recently rejoined the 'Caps after featuring for their respective national sides at the 2016 Copa America. Waston and Bolaños played key roles in Costa Rica's 3-2 upset win over Colombia, while Pérez scored both goals in Panama's 2-1 victory over Bolivia.
Bolaños also scored a goal in Vancouver's 4-3 win over Toronto FC at BMO Field last month.
Also on the 23-man roster for the match at BMO Field is midfielder Alphonso Davies, who is on a short-term call up from the club's USL side, Whitecaps FC 2. Davies earns his third short-term call-up after featuring in both legs of the semifinal series to become the youngest Whitecaps FC player to appear in a first-team match at 15 years old.

MLS clubs may sign players from their USL affiliate to short-term agreements (up to four-day contracts) for CONCACAF Champions League, Amway Canadian Championship, Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and exhibition matches. An MLS club may sign a player to a maximum of four short-term agreements each season (maximum of 16 days).
The 'Caps advanced to the final after overcoming a two-goal deficit to defeat NASL side Ottawa Fury FC 3-2 on aggregate last June 8. Last year, Vancouver won their first-ever Voyageurs Cup, defeating Montreal Impact 4-2 on aggregate in the tournament final.
The Amway Canadian Championship is a five-team tournament that crowns the top team in Canada. In addition to qualifying for the CONCACAF Champions League, the winner also takes home the supporters-created Voyageurs Cup (which was first awarded in 2002).
