VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday roster updates for Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) ahead of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season.
Whitecaps FC 2 Roster Updates:
- Midfielder Yuma Tsuji, and forwards Daniel Ittycheria, Cyprian Kachwele, and Johnny Selemani are all under contract with WFC2 for 2026
- Defender Mihail Gherasimencov has concluded his loan at Canadian Premier League (CPL) side Cavalry FC, and is in discussions with the club for 2026
- Defender Nikola Djordjevic has signed an MLS contract with the first team
- Jackson Castro, Antoine Coupland, Finn Linder, Adrián Pelayo, Daniel Russo, Dembo Saidykhan, and Deylen Vellios are out of contract

Last season, 23 different players were called up from the Whitecaps FC BMO MLS Academy to play for WFC2 in MLS NEXT Pro matches.
Since the inaugural season in MLS NEXT Pro in 2022, the club has signed 10 players from WFC2 to the first team roster and a total of 65 MLS short-term agreements have been signed for first team matches.
