VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Wednesday that the club has signed forward Marko Popović to a Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) contract in MLS NEXT Pro through 2026.

Popović, 20, was most recently at FC Bayern Munich II in 2024 and 2025. The forward also spent time on loan at FC Wacker in Austria, and at German club Türkgücü München where he made 13 appearances in the last Regionalliga Bayern season, and two appearances in the Bayernpokal.
In his youth, the Serbian played for FK Rad, where he was a prolific scorer with 22 goals in 27 appearances during the 2021-22 Kadetska liga season, as well as spending time with Serbia's U-16 national team.
