Today, I got the chance to chat with Whitecaps FC goalkeeper coach Marius Rovde to see how he is enjoying his role with the club. Marius is from Norway and is in his second season with the ‘Caps. He also gave some background on the four keepers he is working with this preseason.
I also got the chance to ask how Brad Knighton is going to push Joe Cannon for the number one spot, and ask Joe how he is going to hold off his latest challenge. Young keepers Callum Irving and Andrew Fontein talked about the chance to train and learn with more experienced shot-stoppers like Cannon and Knighton.
