VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to open the 2023 preseason camp this weekend at the Whitecaps FC National Soccer Development Centre. First team players will report to Vancouver by Friday, January 6, undergo medicals and testing over the weekend, and an on-field training session on Monday, January 9.

The team will then travel to Marbella, Spain on Tuesday, January 10 for a 12-day trip, which will include a preseason friendly against German 2. Bundesliga side Hamburger SV on Wednesday, January 18. Kickoff at the Marbella Football Center is set for 6 a.m. PT / 3 p.m. local.
Following the overseas camp, the ‘Caps will train in Vancouver from January 25 to 28 before departing for the second phase of their preseason in Southern California. Vancouver is set to play five preseason matches over three weeks against MLS opposition at the 2023 Coachella Valley Invitational.
Whitecaps FC will kick off the 2023 MLS regular season in front of their home fans at BC Place, hosting fellow Western Conference side Real Salt Lake on Saturday, February 25.
