ABOUT LAFC

LAFC are preparing for their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.

This will be their third preseason fixture of 2018 after a pair of draws vs. Toronto FC and New York City FC. Costa Rican national team striker Marco Urena has scored all three goals for LA thus far.

There are a number of familiar faces on LAFC’s roster, including former ‘Caps defenders Steven Beitashour and Jordan Harvey and Canadian internationals Dejan Jakovic and Mark-Anthony Kaye. The headliner for LAFC, however, is Mexican striker Carlos Vela – a longtime friend and former national team teammate of Vancouver’s Efrain Juarez.
