VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Thursday that the Whitecaps FC Foundation has launched its 50/50 program.
The program will debut at BC Place this Saturday, August 1, when the 'Caps return to face LAFC in a Western Conference playoff semifinal rematch. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. PT, with more than 35,000 tickets already sold. Upper bowl seats remain available at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps. Saturday will also mark the club's 13th annual Pride Match, presented by TELUS.
"Operating the 50/50 program through the Whitecaps FC Foundation allows us to connect the passion of our fans with meaningful impact in communities across British Columbia," said Jennifer Scott, chair of the Whitecaps FC Foundation. "Supporters can enjoy the excitement of the draw while helping expand access to soccer and investing in the next generation."
The Foundation will operate the 50/50 through the remainder of the 2026 season, with draws taking place at every BC Place home match and online at whitecapsfc5050.com. All proceeds will go toward expanding access to soccer for deserving communities across British Columbia.
The Whitecaps FC Foundation, which launched in February 2025, is the charitable arm of the club and aims to drive impact on and off the pitch by championing access to soccer as well as environmental sustainability.
