STORYLINES

Davies in NYC: Alphonso Davies, who's coming straight from the 2018 MLS All-Star festivities midweek, may have the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of the New York audience. He's grabbed the headlines in his last two outings, scoring three highlight-reel goals and tallying two assists at D.C. and versus Minnesota.

Encore from Reyna? In their last meeting, Yordy Reyna stole the show from star-studded NYCFC with a late game-winner in his home debut in July 2017. His goal and assist versus Minnesota last week came in typical electrifying fashion, and he looks primed to provide the heroics once again.

Bicho at 100: Cristian Techera is hoping to make his 100th MLS appearance, including playoffs. He has 22 goals and 16 assists, with the 'Caps going undefeated with a 23W-0L-9D record when he has figured in the score sheet.
