VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed on Friday, in advance of Major League Soccer’s deadline to exercise player contract options, that the club will not exercise midfielder Russell Teibert’s 2024 contract option; however, discussions are on-going.
The club is also continuing discussions with on-loan wingback Richie Laryea, as well as midfielder Sebastian Berhalter and forward Junior Hoilett, who are out of contract at the end of the year.
