PROFILE
Evan Ince, a native of North Vancouver, BC, has been a sturdy addition for Whitecaps FC as a solid young goalkeeper. Ince joins Whitecaps FC from his hometown based club North Vancouver FC.

DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
2016-2017: Ince started 12 matches for Whitecaps FC U-16 in the regular season recording five clean sheets. In the playoffs Ince started five matches, recording one clean sheet.  He also made two starts for the U-18 squad.

INTERNATIONAL
2017
: Ince was invited to the U-17 preparation camp in Toronto under coach Paul Stalteri. 2016: Ince was invited to the U-17 evaluation camp in Burnaby. 

YOUTH/AMATEUR/REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS

Before joining North Vancouver FC, Ince had a short stint with Lower Mainland based club Mountain United FC, and he also played for the U-12 Boys squad of the North Shore Soccer Club's Gold 1 division from 2011 to 2012. The promising youth player has also collected a ton of personal awards in his young soccer career, having won the Most Valuable Player award of a major tournament in Pitt Meadows in 2011, while his team won the 2011/2012 League Championship of the Gold 1 division.

 

PERSONAL 

Evan names his father, Stuart Ince, as the most influential person on his soccer development, as his father got him started in the sport, and coached him for seven years.

 

INTERESTING FACTS

Ince’s favourite soccer club is English Premier League mammoths, Chelsea F.C., and their former striker Fernando Torres is his favourite player. One of his dreams is to one day play at English club Arsenal's ground, the Emirates Stadium. When he is away from the pitch, Ince's favourite hobbies include a ton of radio voice work, skiing, golfing, and cooking. His favourite food is turkey with gravy, and his only superstition is to put his right sock onto his left foot, and his left sock onto his right foot.
