A striker from Sherwood Park, Alberta who previously played at FC Edmonton Academy, Jefferson Alade joined Whitecaps FC Residency in August 2016.



2017-18: In his second season with the Academy, Alade made a total of 26 regular season appearances, starting 10 matches in total. In those 26 appearances, Alade scored 10 goals for Whitecaps FC U-19s. In the playoffs, Alade started in two of his six appearances and registered six goals for the club. 2016-17: Alade appeared in 20 regular season matches starting 18 of those for Whitecaps FC U-16. He contributed with seven goals for the club. In the playoffs Alade appeared and started in all six of Whitecaps FC U-16 matches adding four goals in the club's run to the final four.



Alade was 15-years-old when he made his Canadian youth program debut in 2016 under head coach Paul Stalteri.
