Career Summary

Nazeem Bartman was selected by Whitecaps FC in the fourth round (73rd overall) of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. He was signed to a USL contract with Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) on April 27, 2017.

UNITED SOCCER LEAGUE
2017: In his first professional season, Bartman made seven starts in 13 appearances before his year was shortened due to injury. He scored one goal versus OKC Energy FC.

COLLEGE
From 2015-16, Bartman played with the University of South Florida Bulls of the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) American Athletic Conference, recording 14 goals and nine assists in 37 appearances and earning back-to-back first team All-American Athletic Conference selections. Prior to that, Bartman had 33 goals and 17 assists in 39 appearances with Tyler Junior College of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), earning NJCAA player of the year honours after leading the Texan side to a national title in 2014. 

SOUTH AFRICA
In his native South Africa, Bartman spent time with Ajax Cape Town, Old Mutual Academy, and Super Short Academy before relocating to the United States for college.
