B.C. Lions win the Grey Cup in a game against the Baltimore Football Club, marking the twelfth time the finals have been held at the stadium.

The Three Tenors, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, perform for New Year's Eve in front of 50,000 fans.

A tear in the dome's Teflon roof causes it to deflate. Melted snow flooded into the collapsed roof and had to be pumped out. No one was injured.
