By BOB MACKIN - READY FOR THUNDER The Minnesota Thunder arrive in Vancouver today and the host Whitecaps want to ensure they leave with a loss after Friday night's United Soccer Leagues' First Division playoff opener at Swangard Stadium. The Thunder and 'Caps have been on a collision course to meet in the first round. The teams each achieved 1-0 wins in the other's park and failed to score in the Sept. 7 rubber match at Swangard. - SINCLAIR DRAFTED Burnaby striker Christine Sinclair was drafted in the second round yesterday by the unnamed Bay Area entry in the new Women's Professional Soccer league. Sinclair, who led the Vancouver Whitecaps to W-League titles in 2004 and 2006, was chosen eighth overall in the seven-team, four-round international player draft.
