Martin Nash was there, but gone are his fellow decade-long Caps, Jeff Clarke, Steve Kindel and Alfredo Valente. All were released or not re-signed this off-season, let go over what they and the club spoke of only as "philosophical differences."
"It’ll be a bit of adjustment," admitted Nash, who should be named captain soon. "Obviously it’s going to be a bit different, especially with the three local boys [gone]. Decisions have been made and we’ve just got to move forward as a club.
