Jay Nolly participates in Salvation Army Soccer Academy

On Saturday January 24, Whitecaps goalkeeper Jay Nolly spent the morning with the North Shore Salvation Army Soccer Academy.  Jay participated with the kids and coaches in warm-up, stretching, drills, and scrimmages. He offered some words of encouragement and coaching tips, and had a great time acting as shot-stopper against some serious youthful fire-power. The North Shore Salvation Army Sports Academy is holding a fundraising dinner and draw to support programs that benefit lower income youth. The event takes place Saturday February 21, 6:30 pm at Eagles Hall (170 W3rd St., North Vancouver).  Tickets are $50 each.  For tickets or information, contact North Shore Salvation Army Athletic Coordinator, Charles MacGregor, at c57mac@yahoo.com
