Vancouver Whitecaps FC wants to give you two season tickets for the 2011 inaugural MLS season.
What do you have to do?
Win our “Whitecaps FC Scavenger Hunt” contest!
This contest will be hosted through our Twitter account (@WhitecapsFC). Participants will need to complete a series of tasks in order to receive clues which will help locate a hidden object somewhere in the Lower Mainland.
Two different kinds of clues will be issued once a task has been completed, you will receive either a “What” or “Where” clue. “What” clues will be descriptive of the mystery object. “Where” clues will lead the participant to the location of the object.
All tasks must be complete in order to win the contest.
How does it work?

There will be a total of 10 tasks throughout the competition. Each day we will tweet a new task.
Example: Retweet “I am going to win the @WhitecapsFC Scavenger Hunt” -
Participants must complete the task through their own Twitter accounts using @WhitecapsFC in each tweet to receive a clue.

Once you have tweeted your task, @WhitecapsFC will send you a direct message with your clue.
*Please note, you MUST use @WhitecapsFC in each task tweet to receive the next clue.
If you do not get a direct message right away do not panic. We aim to respond to all tweets between 4:00pm-5:00pm the day the task is issued. Please allow for extra time on weekends. -
After you have received all of the clues you will have enough information to lead you to the object.
- Be the first person to upload a photo of yourself with the object and you will win two 2011 Whitecaps FC season tickets!
The first clue will be issued on Friday, December 10th. Please see below for the schedule of tasks. You may join the contest at anytime but you have to start from with the first task regardless of the day you join.

Task # 2 = Complete this sentence and tweet it - When I win my two season tickets in the @WhitecapsFC Scavenger Hunt I will take _ with me. (Insert the name of your tweeps here)
Task #3 = Tweet: Meet Jay DeMerit tonight at the @WhitecapsFC store in Metrotown for a special autograph session from 7pm-8pm http://bit.ly/f6xOFF
Task #4 = Using the BC Place Virtual Venue http://bit.ly/ebNLGz, tweet a screenshot of the view where you would want your seats to be for the 2011 season.
Task # 5 = Thursday, December 16th
Task # 6 = Friday, December 17th
Task # 7 = Monday, December 20th
Task # 8 = Tuesday, December 21st
Task # 9 = Wednesday, December 22nd
Task #10 = Take a picture with yourself with the object and Tweet it @WhitecapsFC
