Vancouver Whitecaps FC announce today that the club and Randy Edwini-Bonsu have agreed to the release of the striker.
“We are thankful for Randy's contribution to the club and wish him the best of luck in his future playing career,” said Bob Lenarduzzi, Whitecaps FC president.
In 2010, the product of Edmonton, Alberta, made 22 appearances with the Whitecaps FC men's team for 590 minutes of action, scoring two goals and adding one assist for five points.
In three seasons with Whitecaps FC, Edwini-Bonsu started five of his 41 total appearances for 804 minutes of action, with the former Whitecaps FC Residency product scoring three goals and adding two assists for eight points in the process.
