VANCOUVER, BC – New jersey, new players, new numbers.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC held a photoshoot earlier this month for the players who weren’t in town at the start of preseason, including newcomers Fraser Aird, Christian Bolaños, and Blas Perez.

Check out some of their photos below in the new Sea to Sky jersey, which goes on sale to the public on Tuesday, March 1, and find out why they chose the numbers they did.

FRASER AIRD: #8

“That was the only single digit number left! I also used to be a massive fan of Frank Lampard.”

CHRISTIAN BOLAÑOS: #7

“No reason in particular. It’s my number for the Costa Rican national team, so that’s why I like it.”
