VANCOUVER, BC - Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be visiting USL expansion side Las Vegas Lights FC for a preseason friendly, the club announced on Monday.
The match will be played on Saturday, February 17 at Cashman Field in Las Vegas as part of Lights FC's inaugural Soccer Spring Training. The 'Caps are one of three MLS clubs visiting Las Vegas, as Montreal Impact and D.C. United are also set to face Lights FC.
The trip to Nevada will take place following the 'Caps visit to Hawaii for the first annual Pacific Rim Cup. The remainder of the 'Caps preseason schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

- Saturday, February 10, 8 p.m. PT - Lights FC vs. Montreal Impact
- Saturday, February 17, 8 p.m. PT - Lights FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC
- Saturday, February 24, 8 p.m. PT - Lights FC vs. D.C. United
ABOUT LAS VEGAS LIGHTS FC
Lights FC, the 33rd team in the USL, will begin preseason play at Cashman Field in February 2018, with a home schedule of 20-plus matches running through at least October 2018. While sharing Cashman Field during the inaugural season with the Las Vegas 51s, the stadium and playing surface will be converted to a fully natural grass playing turf to provide an intimate, authentic soccer environment for each home match.
