OCEANSIDE, CA – Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-19 Residency defeated Sockers FC 1-0 in the Academy Playoffs quarterfinals on Monday.
The lone goal came early in the second half when Theo Bair struck a shot that hit the post, then bounced off of a Sockers FC defender and into the net.
With the result, the ‘Caps now advance to the Academy Championship semifinals on Sunday, July 8 in Kansas City, Missouri.
